Having read through all the other 'stories' and 'thoughts' the same appreciative words repeat themselves, all of them a warm and loving testament to a incredibly wonderful man. I had only known Mike for about 3 years, right from the start he encouraged me to get involved and take on responsibility. Mike had a wonderful way with  people he understood them knew their strength's and weaknesses could always find positives when things might be going slightly west he was also unflappable. I worked with him organising children's birthday parties at Little Hay and eventually managed them so Mike could run his steam loco he had recently bought. Yes he will be a dearly missed at Little Hay, as he will be by all his family and friends.
