Dear Uncle Mike,

I am so grateful to have known you and wish I could thank you for being the best uncle anyone could wish to have.  You were always so kind and gentle, compassionate, generous, selfless and, if we needed it, you would be there to provide encouragement and support.

As children, you would give your time so generously to encourage and prompt our interest, whether that was with the latest engine you were taking apart, a new musical instrument or the latest gadget.  

And as adults you were always there to lend a hand.  Never judging.  Simply offering unconditional love.

How you fitted so much into your life I will never know, but you always were and always will be a great inspiration.  You will live on in our memories and your influence will continue far and wide.
